[1] With your left hand, fold the fukusa on the obi from the bottom to about two-thirds, fold it in half, and pull it out of the obi.
[2] Hold the upper edge with your right hand, release your left hand and let the woven cloth hang down, hold your left hand near your right hand, slide your hand, hold the left end, and pull the woven cloth so that the center of the woven cloth is outside your left knee. Level it.
[3] Loosen the fukusa and pull it lightly. This is called "punching".
[4] Put your right hand up and hold it near the edge of your left knee. With your left hand, fold the middle part of the fukusa from front to back.
[5] With your left palm facing up, fold it in half horizontally with your left thumb as the core.
[6] Next, with the little finger as the core, fold the right edge downward, remove the four fingers of the left hand, and fold the remaining triangular edge downward with the four fingers of the left hand.
[7] Take your left thumb out of the fukusa, fold it in half, and hold it in your right hand.
