Shifuku is a bag used to store utensils such as tea containers, thin tea utensils, tea bowls, and Hikiya.
Meibutsu-gire and Kodai-gire are often used for the shifuku of the tea caddy, and depending on the tea caddy, there are some tea caddies that have multiple Meibutsu-gire replacement bags (kaebukuro).
At the tea ceremony, Shifuku is presented to the guests along with the tea container and chashaku.
Originally, ``bukuro'', ``hikiya'' (a container made by sawing wood on a potter's wheel to store the tea container in the shibuku), ``box'', and `` "Tsutsumigire" and other accessories are called "Shufuku", and Shufuku became Shifuku, which is said to be the name of tea bags.
