Takoyaki means ‘cooked octopus’. It’s a savoury doughball, a dumpling, with some flavourings and a piece of octopus inside. It’s cooked from a thick batter on a special grill pan, designed to help you roll the takoyaki into a round shape.
There are many kinds of Takoyaki. In Osaka a lot of shops compete about which is most delicious. There are some places where a few shops open stalls alongside each other, and you can taste a variety of styles.
Every local kids loves to make this at each home,local woman gets their own iron griddle before they get married and brings it to their new home.
Local Kansai people call "Takopa" a party to enjoy Takoyaki.There’s a place called “Takopa” (“Takoyaki Park”) in front of Universal Studios Japan, if you are ever in that area.

30%........... 4 - 7 days prior to the class
50%........... 2 - 3 days prior to the class
80%........... the day prior to the class
100%......... the class day
